Hi, thanks for dropping by!
Hi, I'm Jess. I am a vegan travel blogger from Montreal, now living in beautiful British Columbia. For more information on my work for other outlets, see my contact page.
After 7 years of living a vegan lifestyle and over a decade of vegetarianism before that, here’s what I’ve learned: eating vegan isn’t too difficult once you get the hang of it in your own neck of the woods. You quickly figure out all your favourite spots to grab a bite, the grocery store sections that carry the ingredients you need, and all the convenient places you can get a sweet snack on the go if you’re in a rush. Vegan travel, on the other hand, can be a whole different ball game. Whether you’re living large at a luxury resort or backpacking in a foreign country, finding quality vegetarian/vegan eats can prove to be difficult in an unfamiliar place.
Alternative diets shouldn’t have to be a struggle when you travel, we just need to work together as a community to share information. That’s what this blog is for, to help vegans travel hassle-free and to highlight the establishments that deserve our support for making a solid effort. As someone who has admittedly survived all vacations on Cliff bars and steamed veggies, I’m here to help pave the way for others to not have to do the same.
Thank you for following my sun-soaked adventures as I share insights on some of the most fabulous vegan food my world has to offer. As a nature lover and strong supporter of eco-friendly tourism and products, you can expect to find honest reviews about places and things that I love on this site. Wherever you may roam, always remember to support local businesses!
